Woolacombe - England
Want a clean and picturesque beach? Woolacombe, near Ilfracombe has three miles of mostly fine, golden sand dominates the town of Woolacombe. The Blue Flag beach is set sandwiched between the green headlands of Baggy and Morte Points, with right of entry from two car parks straight behind. It is privately run by lifeguards and 4x4 vehicles patrolling between 10am and 6pm, most often looking for lost children who have set out at low tide 'looking for the sea'. whilst the tide is not in, it leaves hundreds of metres of sand, great for playing games on the beach but if your child wants to run down to the water's edge, you'd best go along. Good amenities for all the family.
