Test your golfing abilities on our picturesque Par 70, 6000 yard Parkland Golf Course. The beautiful undulating tree lined fairways make Crow Nest Park the ideal course for enjoyable golf. Suitable for all different standards of golfer, we have the ultimate 'challenge'. Alternate tees change the 'design outlook' on most holes, others adding 25 - 30 yards. Manicured to represent television standards with striped, defined fairways to encourage the straight drive and strategically placed bunkers and trees just add to the challenge.

Huddersfield (Fixby) Golf Club - Huddersfield - Golf

Distance 2.66 miles (4.26 km)
Huddersfield Golf Club was formed following a meeting held in Huddersfield's George Hotel on December 21st 1891. The course was laid out on the magnificent parkland turf of Fixby Park with the assistance of the owners, the Clarke Thornhill family. The first captain was Harry Huth, and the first president, The Earl of Dartmouth. From the long doglegged 475 yard par 4 opening hole the course is a true test of golf. Mastery of every club in the bag is necessary to return a good score. The first nine are relatively flat but the second half is undulating, and at its highest on the 18th fairway. The clubhouse boasts an excellent choice of three bars, including the recently completed Centenary Hall, which can accommodate up to 150 people in style.
