How building control allowed you to set TV's into the wall is beyond me. It just means that most of the sound is transmitted through the wall to the room next door and, as I experienced, if you have some selfish *!*!* next door who has the TV on all night it leads to a sleepless night."

The Saints were formed by, amongst others, players from the old Dearney FC, which itself came into being in 1880. Most of those players were part of the congregation at St Mary's Church, after which their new stadium has been named. The team's most productive period was the late seventies and early eighties. They beat Manchester United 1-0 in the final of the FA Cup in 1976, and then, after a brief lull, they went on to finish runners-up in the old First Division in 1984. Fast Fact: Southampton's record fee received from a transfer is 8.1million pounds paid by Tottenham for Dean Richards in 2001.
