Woodspring Golf and Country Club - Bristol - Golf

Woodspring Golf and Country Club - Bristol - Golf

Distance 4.47 miles (7.15 km)
The 27 hole golf course designed by Donald Steel, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, provides golfers with challenges that are testing, yet fair and enjoyable. Comprising the Avon, Brunel and Severn, Woodspring Golf and Country Club has been designed as three separate nine hole courses. Each nine has its own set of characteristics; the Avon is the shortest of the three and asks you to hit the ball strategically, making it more important to hit the ball accurately than a long way. The Brunel has some testing water features that come into play. With its small raised green, the iron play has to be impeccable if you are to play under your handicap.

Providing a true test of golf to players of all ability and complemented by a most welcoming clubhouse with one of the best practice facilities around Long Ashton is well worth visiting at any time of the year. Bristol and Clifton Golf Club - Bristol - Golf

Bristol and Clifton Golf Club - Bristol - Golf

Distance 5.21 miles (8.34 km)
Bristol & Clifton is a beautiful, undulating, country golf course of distinctive character, established in 1891. It is situated just 4 miles from Bristol and only a short drive from Brunels famous Clifton Suspension Bridge. Bristol & Clifton is not a golf club for beginners! We do expect that all your players hold an official handicap, can play to a reasonable standard, and will not hold up any play. We recommend that Stableford Competitions be the format for the day. Each player must have his own set of Clubs, proper golf shoes and is expected to know and carry out the normal etiquette of golf.
