Thank You For A Pleasant Stay
My stay at Crescent Guest House was very pleasant. It is a short walk to the centre of Bath. Plenty of information about Bath available. Breakfast was lovely! A choice of fruit/cereal/yoghurt or cooked breakfast or both! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I slept very well. I was in the single room with ensuite which has a shower toilet and sink, enough for me. Also has a TV. The host was very pleasant and helpful. I had telephoned ahead my request of leaving bags on the morning of my first stay.

Over The Moon
Crescent Guest House is a walk from town and restaurants. It is elegant and homely. We were greeted with the warmest welcome. Rita is wonderful and great fun. She helped us with all our tourist plans, and even remembered it was my husband's birthday with a card and a song! The rooms are cosy and well equipped. Rita's breakfasts are divine. We'd love to stay here again.

Conveniently Located Guest House And Cosy Room
The Guest House was located close to Victoria Park and the city centre. Our bathroom was fairly spacious with a full-size wash basin together with lots of convenient hooks and shelves. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. There was a good choice of delicious breakfasts including full English and fruit and cereals served at a friendly communal table.

Our only criticism was there were no drawers in our room to store clothes.

Simple But Everything We Wanted
The bedroom was very small but had everything we needed, and the bathroom doubled as a dressing room. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen top quality as was the breakfast. The biggest assest however was the great location, everything in easy walking distance and the map and few basic instructions on arrival was very helpful too. Many thanks for a very pleasant stay we would happily recommend this B&B.

Lovely Stay
Crescent House was a lovely warm and inviting place to stay. The double room was a little small but perfectly adequate as only staying one night. The full English breakfast was lovely.

Response from Hotel
Thank you for your great review, Margaret

Good Location And Very Comfortable
Located close to the Royal Crescent this B&B was comfortable and a little quirky. We were warmly welcomed and take to a small but pleasant room. Breakfast was great and Rita took just enough interest in our trip to make us feel welcome but not overwhelmed. She also dealt well with a noisy fellow customer.

I would recommend staying here for tourists and shorter stays, but if you like lots of space be sure to ask for one of the bigger rooms.

Roman Baths - Bath - Landmark

Distance 0.54 miles (0.86 km)
Visit the heart of the World Heritage Site. Around Britain's only hot spring, the Romans built a magnificent temple and bathing complex that still flows with natural hot water. See the water's source and walk where Romans walked on the ancient stone pavements. The extensive ruins and treasures from the spring are beautifully preserved and presented using the best of modern interpretation. Roman baths were part of the day-to-day life in Ancient Rome. Bath in Somerset, contains one of the best examples of a Roman bath complex in Europe. There are two good examples at Pompeii.

Bath Centre - Town Centre

Bath Centre - Town Centre

Distance 0.72 miles (1.15 km)
Bath is a university city with some amazing examples of Georgian architecture and a plethora of historically significant sites of interest. The city also offers superb shopping, restaurants, theatres and nightlife, as well as numerous things to do and see. The Roman Baths are amazingly complete and were excavated in 1878 after being found during building work. They are fed by one of Baths three hot springs 10,000 years ago rain seeped into the hills, the rocks heated the water and it now bubbles up into the baths. Unsurprisingly, the baths are mentioned in books by Jane Austen (herself a regular visitor to the baths),

Bath Spa Railway Station - Railway Station

Bath Spa Railway Station - Railway Station

Distance 0.74 miles (1.19 km)
Bath Spa station was built in 1840 for the Great Western Railway by Brunel. It is in an asymmetrical Tudor style with curving gables, and lies on the north bank of the Avon, with the line swerving elegantly across from the southern bank to the station and then back again. A convenient characteristic for passengers is that ramps lead up to both platforms, permitting the disabled or those with luggage to have ready access from the platforms to cars or taxis. There is also a footbridge, formerly tolled, leading directly from the station across the Avon and allowing direct access to the village of Widcombe.
