The Cosmopolitan Hotel is one of the premier hotels in Leeds and is the oldest within the City. The hotel is situated deep in the heart of the business, shopping and entertainment centre. The hotel completed a £1.5 million refurbishment of all public areas with a new bar and restaurant in 2009. Stayed here last weekend with friends on a shopping trip. Room clean, bed comfy, cocktails and food good. Only a five minute walk from station and to the shops but... the noise overnight from car revving, sounding horns non stop between 2-5 am was unacceptable. ill fitting double glazing over old sashwindows obviously did not cut out any sound. Very tired shoppers on second day - staff were helpful and friendly though. - jane , Leeds , United Kingdom
