Short Break
A friendly welcome from Charlie. Very clean and spacious room, everything you need. I stayed in room 3 and it was massive. Breakfast was lovely. Very close to everything, Can't fault the place! Would stay again if in Gt Yarmouth again.

Close To Everything
Charlie gave a warm welcome. I found that everywhere in the Hotel was clean and tidy and the bedroom was spotless with plenty of room, even better close to town, Pier and beach, I did not use the car unless I was going outside Yarmouth.

Very Friendly Hotel
Small friendly hotel. Stayed here for three days this week. Our room was very spacious, and clean. The en-suite had boiling hot water and a powerful shower A huge tv in the room. Plenty of storage space in the room too. The food was excellent. The service was outstanding.

An Amazing Break Away From Screaming Kids
when we first arrived at yarmouth, we found it difficult to find, but after a phone call to charlie, we got there ok, at first, when you look at the b and b, you don't think it is anything special, but as soon as you step inside, you realise what a lovely homely place it is, and charlie was really friendly and welcoming. we had an amazing time and when we first set foot in the room, we where blown away, it was so, clean, modern, spacious and bright and the beds where sleeping on a cloud, we stayed in room 6 and it was such an amazing time, thank you charlie, we hope to be back very soon, and maybe again in september!! :) :D

A Great Little Find
We often stay in Great Yarmouth as it is close to my son's house, over the time we have been visiting we have stayed in some real holes - so what a lovely surprise to stay at Woods End. A lovely clean place, very comfortable rooms, a friendly welcome from Charley and what a breakfast - fantastic! And on the bank holiday weekend we only paid £24 each with no single supplement for our daughter. This is the best b & b we have stayed in yet and is far, far better than others charging much more. A short 3 minute stroll and you are in the centre of the amusements, if that is what you are after, and no rioting youngsters outside the door in the early hours - unlike other b & b's in the centre. We will be back soon!

Great Yarmouth Centre - Town Centre

Distance 1.01 miles (1.61 km)
Great Yarmouth has attracted visitors for 900 years but the seaside has been the main attraction for only 200, so behind the glamour, glitter and bright lights that make Great Yarmouth one of the UK's most popular seaside resorts is a town steeped in history. Great Yarmouth was one of the wealthiest towns in Britain because of its prosperous herring industry and in 1724 Daniel Defoesaid Great Yarmouth had "the finest quay in England, if notin Europe". The Town Wall built between 1261 and 1400 ranks amongst the best in the country as most of the wall and towers still survive. Great Yarmouth has eight museums.
