Our Stay
When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was incredibly friendly. He offered help and advice about the area and provided excellent customer service throughout. The breakfast was very good. We had room 3 and the beds were very uncomfortable- springs were sticking out of the mattresses and we both awoke with bad backache. It would be a good idea to put memory Foam toppers on these to make them more comfortable to sleep on as we really struggled. The beds were a shame because apart from that it would be an excellent hotel and we would have returned

Thank you for your comments which we have noted, however both guests who stayed in room 3 prior to your stay and the ones after, both informed us that the bed was comfortable and that they had enjoyed a good nights sleep.

Thank you for your review, of our 24 rooms the room you stayed in is the only one without a shower over the bath.

Hope to see you return soon.

Pleasant Stay
I only stayed the one night but enjoyed my stay. Room was slightly compact but spotless.

They did not have wholemeal bread at breakfast though which I found a bit odd.

Roger Is Great!
The hotel manager/owner Roger welcomed us and gave us a great insight into his hotel, the local area and the whole of Wales. Hotel was fine, cheap and suitable but Roger was the highlight. What a nice guy, he\'s a really super bloke. Cheers Roger!

Home From Home
Myself and my nine year old son thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Trevone. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel Manager/owner who was extremely polite and very helpful and pleasant. First impression upon entering our room was very pleasing, it was spotlessly clean spacious and airy, the view was fantastic and facilities were good. There is tea and coffee making facilities in the room and fresh clean towels on the bed.. also there were complimentary soaps etc in the bathroom to which I have to add again....was spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning again I couldn\'t fault...polite and fast service..food was good. Location too is perfect just situated centrally to everything. All round we really felt comfortable and will definitely be staying again if not fully booked....as the dining room each morning was always full.

Relaxing Break Over Easter
We stayed at the Trevone over the Easter holidays, and had a lovely time. Very friendly staff and lovely food for breakfast. Not the most modern or luxurious of hotels, but very charming and we had a very nice time! We will certainly stay again next time we are in Llandudno.

Good Stay
Greeted by owner on arrival and allocated room 8 at the front of the hotel on the first floor. Rooms was large with a double and a single bed and still had plenty of room. Large wardrobe for cloths and generous seating capabilities. Breakfast was good with ample choice of menu available. Only criticism is the size of the tv. Recommended.

Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House - Museum

Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town House - Museum

Distance 3 miles (4.79 km)
At the heart of Medieval Conwy stands Plas Mawr, the "Great Hall", built between 1576 and 1585 for the Welsh merchant, Robert Wynn. This richly decorated building is an architectural gem, possibly the best preserved Elizabethan townhouse in Great Britain. It dominates the town of Conwy with its gatehouse, stepped gables and lookout tower. This "worthy plentiful house" is especially noted for the quality and quantity of its ornamental plasterwork, now fully restored to its original splendour. Plas Mawr's authentic period atmosphere is further enhanced by furnishings, many original to the house, based on an inventory of the contents in 1665.The interior with its elaborately decorated plaster ceilings and fine wooden screens, reflects the wealth and influence of the Tudor gentry in Wales.
