Centrally located on Plymouth Hoe, just a few minutes walk from the City Centre, the historic Plymouth Barbican and seafront. The Invicta Hotel enjoys panoramic views across Hoe Park and, to the right, the sea. The Invicta Hotel is an English Heritage Grade II Star Listed Victorian building offering a little bit of home from home. Ongoing refurbishment enables us to provide continued high standards throughout. This 3 star family run hotel boasts 23 en-suite rooms all fully equipped to ensure a comfortable yet affordable stay. All our rooms are appointed to a high standard and include tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen HD TVs with freeview and free unlimited broadband Wi-Fi Internet access. Some of our first floor classic rooms have king or super king size beds, spa baths, corner baths or walk in power showers. If you would like a double room but are travelling alone then ask about our single occupancy deals, or travelling with your pets we can offer pet friendly accommodation. Parking. We can offer secure off road parking to the rear of the hotel for up to ten vehicles. On street parking is available outside the hotel at a reduced rate by purchasing a vistor parking permit from the hotel reception at a subsidised rate of two pounds for a twenty four hour period. Please be aware as this is a Grade II star listed heritage property we are therefore unable to install a lift, however a porterage service is available upon request.

During 2001 Home Park was transformed, with three sides of the ground being completely re-built. Both the ends and one side of the ground has been replaced , by single tiered, covered all seated stands. Most impressively the corners between these stands have been filled so that the ground is totally enclosed on those sides. This just leaves just the Grandstand at one side of the pitch, as the only remnant of the old Home Park. This classic looking stand dates back to the late 1940's, is partly covered, with seating at the rear and a large terrace at the front. Home Park is the most westerly and southerly League Ground in England.
