The hotel is situated on the southern boundary of the Carmarthenshire seaside village of Ferryside. The village nestles on the Three Rivers estuary of Carmarthen Bay. The hotel enjoys views of Llanstephan and its ancient castle to the west, and of Carmarthen Bay towards Caldy Island and Tenby to the south west. Ferryside grew from the now non-operational Ferry crossing on the river Tywi, on the ancient pilgrims route to St David's Cathedral.
