Comfortable And Good Value
This is my third stay at The Fairhaven Hotel. If you\'re looking for a comfortable, affordable stay I\'d thoroughly recommend it.

Yes, the decor is a little dated, and the facilities are a basic but this is more that made up for by the excellent location, cheap prices, great breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed and very friendly welcome.

I stayed in Fairhaven hotel for a week. The room was clean. The owner was very kind and helpful so that I stayed a bit longer than I first expected. Though wifi signal was too weak to use in the room, most things were pretty nice and satisfactory.

An Enjoyable Stay
I booked online and was surprised at how easy and efficient the service was. The manager was very friendly and welcoming when I arrived, and again at breakfast the next morning,

I stayed in a double room with en-suite. The bed was comfortable, and the room was lovely and warm. The decor was slightly dated, and the en-suite (though clean) was tiny - however both were perfectly adequate for my short stay.

The hotel is ideally placed for the train station, and is just a short walk away from the supermarkets in Beeston.

The breakfast was really good, everything cooked fresh to order and very quickly.

All in all I enjoyed my stay, and would have no hesitation in a return visit.

A Good Place To Know
This was our second stay at Fairhaven, very conveniently placed for an annual event we attend.

Although the facilities are fairly basic and the beds could be a lot more comfortable, the price is fair and the proprietor could not be more welcoming. The breakfast is really excellent. We would use it again and would also heartily recommend the nearby Victoria public house.

Great Value For Money
The hotel was clean and tidy with a very welcoming owner! The car park was safe and the en suite shower was great. Unfortunately I didn't get chance to sample the breakfast, but getting breakfast included in the room rate makes the Fairhaven hotel even better value for money. I would definitely return to this hotel!

Clean and friendly, basic establishment, yummy breakfast and reasonable price.

Registered and states licensed, but no bar area or food served in the evening - for me that mattered as a single female traveller arriving later in the day - however it wasn't too far to find somewhere for dinner.

Cheaest In Beeston, As Fas As I Know, Excluding The University's Guest Annexe
Perfectly satisfactory budget bed and breakfast, exactly as one would expect of a well upkept and operated family-run establishment in a location out of the main visitor's way, pleasantly informal and the landlord congenially direct and comprehensive in his business dealing with guests. I was told the place can get very busy, but it was delightfully sparsely occupied and accordingly peaceful and private when I stayed.

We Keep Coming Back To The Fairhaven
We have been staying at the Fairhaven on our visits to Nottingham over the last 2 and a half years. From our first stay we were impressed with the warm welcome from the manager and his hospitality, he even provided us with an ironing board and extra tea bags. The location is ideal for visiting Nottingham. You can benefit from a quiet night's sleep in accommodation of superior value for money than offered by hotels in the city centre. The hotel offers free parking and is ideally located for the university. Nottingham city centre can be easily reached by train (Beeston station is a 5 minute walk away), bus or taxi- a taxi back from the city centre costs around £15 in the early hours. Our room we stayed in was large and comfortable. We always appreciate the breakfast provided, you can help yourself to cereal and fresh juice before tucking into a full English offered with tea or coffee and toast. We will continue to stay at the Fairhaven on our future visits to Nottingham and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable night's sleep in an accessible location, with a warm welcome provided at excellent value for money.

Very good value for money and very close to Beeston Station. As far as I could tell this was also the closest Bed and Breakfast to the University and so was ideal. We stayed 2 nights Bed and Breakfast in the Fairhaven Hotel. We stayed in a family room. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was large well fitted and clean. The breakfasts were very good. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had excellent value for money and the hotel was convenient for our appointment at the Queens Medical Centre (2.5 miles away)If we have one criticism (and it is a common failing among most establishmments) there are no black-out curtains which is a bit of a pain when young children wake up with the light.

Other than that our stay was 5 star and we would use this ghotel again and have no worries about recommending it.

I come to Nottingham occasionally to go to tournaments at Games Workshop on Lenton Lane, and the Fairhaven hotel is the best place I've found.
